2023 Scholarship For High School Seniors

All applicants seeking financial assistance in the form of a scholarship MUST follow the procedures below and submit their application between Friday, February 10, 2023, and Friday, March 31, 2023.  No considerations will be granted for any submissions after the deadline. The award winner(s) will be announced in April 2023.

 

The Award:  
• $500.00
 

Criteria:

•You must be a graduating senior of a high school in Anne Arundel County, Maryland

•You must be entering your freshman year of college in Fall 2023

•Complete the application in its entirety, including uploading all required documentation

•You must submit the application by March 31, 2023
 
Have the following documents ready before you begin, and please follow the naming conventions for each:

•Transcript Signed by Guidance Counselor -- FirstNameLastNameTranscript (ex. JaneDoeTranscript)

•Personal statement -- FirstNameLastNamePersonalStatement (ex. JaneDoePersonalStatement)

•Letter of Recommendation From A Faculty Member -- FirstNameLastNameFacultyRecommendation (ex. JaneDoeFacultyRecommendation)

•Letter of Recommendation From A Community Member -- FirstNameLastNameCommunityRecommendation (ex. JaneDoeCommunityRecommendation)

•Acceptance Letter from College You Plan to Attend -- FirstNameLastNameAcceptanceLetter (ex. JaneDoeAcceptanceLetter)

2023 Scholarship Application For College Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors

All applicants seeking financial assistance in the form of a scholarship MUST follow the procedures below and submit their application between Friday, February 10, 2023, and Friday, March 31, 2023.  No considerations will be granted for any submissions after the deadline. The award winner(s) will be announced in April 2023.

 

The Award:

• $1,000.00
 
Criteria:
•You must be enrolled at an accredited college, university or community college
•You must be a Freshman, Sophomore or Junior in good standing
•You must have a GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or 1:7 on a 3.0 scale)
•You must be a permanent resident of Anne Arundel County
•Complete the application in its entirety, including uploading all required documentation
•You must submit the application by March 31, 2023

Have the following documents ready before you begin, and please follow the naming conventions for each:
•Transcript Signed by Advisor -- FirstNameLastNameTranscript (ex. JaneDoeTranscript)
•Personal Statement (written or video) -- FirstNameLastNamePersonalStatement (ex. JaneDoePersonalStatement)
•Letter of Recommendation -- FirstNameLastNameRecommendation (ex. JaneDoeFacultyRecommendation)

Donations

Please consider a monetary donation to the scholarship fund as a way to support local students. 100% of donations are redistributed to Anne Arundel County students.
